For November into December, SPOC has four key things to share:
.) After consultation with the SPOC President, we will be heading to Crescent Beach on Friday after school. The weather is going to be absolutely beautiful! We will meet in room 301 at 2pm, and we need drivers, so bring your vehicle, and/or a parent with a vehicle. Please let me know if you are going to go on Friday, and if you can drive.
.) As mentioned in an earlier e-mail, there is a great outdoor leadership opportunity coming up. If you are interested, please e-mail me by the end of the day on Friday with an explanation as to why you would like to go. SPOC President and I will select the three names and notify them by early next week.
.) There is a great deal for getting a three month climbing pass at the Salt Pump climbing gym. There are other goodies that come with the membership, including rental gear, free guest passes, and yoga/fitness classes. It is $175 total, but that price will go down if more people sign up. Email: davista@spsdme.org for more info.
.) Speaking of the Salt Pump gym, we will be going there during the week of 11/28-12/2. It will be $25 for a full session, which includes climbing, instruction, and rental gear. Please let me know which day of the week works best for you.
